From a fellow Arcade Fire fan, be glad you missed their JazzFest performance.

I've heard mixed reviews, it must have been an off show

I watched the Coachella stream, and holy shite they killed it

I wanted to see if they had another dimension other than their wanna-be symphonic orchestra bullshite.

Have you seen them live lately? Their live show is far better than Arcade Fires. I saw them at the toyota center in Housto in 2012 with Andre. I was a critic before but after i was convinced that they are the best band of our generation. Best live show ive ever seen outside of a few bisco ragers.

Radiohead @ Bonnaroo 2006 stands as the best show I've ever seen. Also saw them in Houston 08 and 12

You have a strange understanding. They use strings for atmosphere, and they're fricking good at it.

It's not fricking ELO with the London Philharmonic up there or something

Its not about jambands dude. You havent seen them live. Maybe theyll stop at the varsity or chelseas on their next tour and youll see what me and heady are talking about. When radiohead can cosistently bring the heat at live shows (different setlists every time, incredible opening acts like caribou) and albums (king of limbs, in rainbows, not to mention yorkez new solo album) its hard to beat. This is aband continuing to push the boundaries of music while arcade fire is going along with mainstream indie music. Reflektor is basically ripping off indietron music. Its good but not anything revolutionary. Funeral is the only real ah yeah worthy thing theyve put out.

Let's not even mention OK Computer and Kid A, with the former being arguably the greatest album released in our lifetime and the latter being arguably the most influential record released in our lifetime.

If you think that stuff > AF's output then we're at such opposite sides of this argument it's pointless

and beyond that, their method of releasing In Rainbows via a digital self-release paved the way for the future of music distribution.

Suburbs sucked dude (yea sprawl, is good for picking up 17 year old chicks). Reflektor had 3-4 good songs.

Not sure why your jimmies are so rustled.

Digital distribution more or less killed music

This isn't a good thing
