I was at the Aub "earthquake game" in Tiger Stadium. This one appears eerily similar to the Aub game, in that if this young LSU team wins, expect it to be very close. LSU does have a great punt returner, LSU does have a great kicker, and Les Miles is no stranger to winning close games. Just seems like the table is set for a ground shaking event. Ole Miss just might be arrogant enough to punt to T. White or Les may even decide to have him return a kick.

Very proud of this young LSU team, and a very loud stadium is one way to show it.

It will only be loud if LSU is in the game. If Ole Miss gets out front early, it will get ugly, empty, and quiet.

I am concerned about this as it may take the team a quarter to figure things out

One punt return against Kentucky & the guy is Devin Hester .

LSU is a young team that's fighting hard to improve and they are. You can show this LSU team a lot of love for fighting so hard, one way is to scream like hell for the entire game. I think LSU's young players would truly appreciate that, fans may even be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.

Yep we've got to stay in the game. No one is excited when your team is trailing by 3 TDs. If they are even still in the stadium

So if the Tigers struggle early against a tough team our fans will quit and leave? That is pretty damn sad

It will have to happen in the first half. The stadium will be empty by halftime.

You said it best Gulf Coast Tiger. It IS pretty damn sad. LSU's rabid fan base is dead.

It is not the traffic. It is not the team. It is not the coaches. It is apathy. Pure and simple. It is a direct reflection of today's society.

This team is not built to come from behind. Especially against a team with a great defense. Most of our fans are smart enough to realize this. So, the excitement goes away once they know there is virtually no chance at victory.

It is imperative for LSU to score first. LSU can only have one turnover at most. And at least one score from defense or special teams. These are the things that will keep the crowd in the game. If the crowd stays in the game, the team will feed off of the energy and stay in the game.

LSU fans early on had no idea just how strong LSU's opponents were, they just assumed LSU was a very weak team. LSU was just too young to handle such tough opponents so early in the season. But LSU is playing better, these are not freshmen anymore, and they're gonna kick some Ole #ss.

Well I will be there rooting and supporting the Tigers hard. No leaving for me, no whining from me, no worrying about traffic. I plan on enjoying my Saturday night in Death Valley.

First I'll admit, you made me laugh. But if Ole Miss coaches think as negatively about our LSU players as you, we have a fighting chance to make them cry.

I can't stand him either, but he doesn't make Tiger fans leave anymore than I do.

This team came back from a deficit to beat Wisconsin at it most raw state. This team battled back from being dominated by Mississippi State and came within a hail mary pass to end the game that could have won it for them. This team kept battling against Florida and forced an interception to secure a victory. The only game they were dominated and had no answer was Auburn. This team may not be a polished machine built like those previously, but to say this team is not built to come from behind is either stupidity or willful ignorance.

I'm as apathetic as they come. But not when it comes to LSU football.
