This game will be determined by our offense. While our defense has gotten much better the past couple games, there were against Kentucky and Florida. I think the only chance we have of winning this Saturday is if we can create some turnovers, and if we can establish a running game. If we can't establish a running game we might be f'd. Ole Miss has a very good defense. I fully expect them to load the box. I hope Les actually come out strong early. Throw the ball, give Jennings some confidence instead of a conservative don't lose the game scheme. I just don't have a lot of confidence we can outscore this ole miss coming from behind. Its LSU vs Ole Miss so I think anything can happen. Should be a very good game, I pray to god it wont turn into the MSU game

I am biased towards LSU, naturally. However, I will say this; As someone who bets every weekend on multiple sports, I cant tell you how many times I have looked at a Vegas odds line and thought "no way" only to be burned time after time. They know way more than any of us will ever know. They are completely unbiased and are only interested in making money. They obviously think the game will be closer than most on here do.

I bet a lot as well, and honestly I tend to play lines that seem too easy. Case in point, when the LSU game against KY came out at -12.....and everyone was saying that's too high, easy money....that immediately told me LSU was going to blow them out....and I won good money.

As for the Ole Miss game.....I said last week and earlier today, I thought it would be between 3 and 4 points.......Ole Miss is not as good as people think, and LSU is better than a lot think....and LSU is pretty damn good at home over the years, under Les...

Actually they had 40+ but due to QB sacks it bring the number to Zero.

They look at Death Valley at night; Tigers getting up for their former number one rival now number two, they only lost to number one by 5 with a throw into the end zone on the final play; LSU's peaking. Lot's of reasons why this is a single score game on paper. Ole Miss has a better defense than MSU but not by much and I think everyone agrees that MSU has a more potent offense because of Dak. This would not be a huge upset if the Tigers prevail, IMO.

I'm picking LSU straight-up, no doubt. This is Ole Miss's week to bite the dust.

If you don't think Ole Miss is good this year you're in for a rude awakening

They are good, and their defense is fantastic. But, their offense has been struggling and then running the score up late to make the games look better than they were. It will take a great effort to secure victory on Saturday, but our Tigers can do it.

It would be great to bring them down a peg. To talk to the Ole Miss fans I know you would think they have been a dynasty and we were some bottom of the barrel team the last 10 years or so.

The zero rushing yards was net, due to like 100 sacks that negated all of Tennessee rushing yards. I expect LSUs line to protect a bit better than that.

I live in Madison County, outside of Jackson...it is unbelievable here. They literally tell you that lsu has zero shot at beating Ole Miss....I tell them ok buddy.....LSU is a 3 point dog.....most people outside of us, think this is a gimme for Ole Miss....laying the points.....to me, this looks like one of those trap vegas spreads. Their defense is good....I'm not sure their defense is great. What if LSU had not played State or Auburn yet....our d would look pretty damn strong as well.

They allowed zero rushing yards vs Tennessee. ZERO
to follow up on what DUDE already said, Worley was sacked 8 times for -41 yards. they actually had 20 carries for 52 yards, or 2.6ypc, right on their average for the year of 2.63. Tenn is 125th (out of 128) in sacks allowed (30 for -226 yards) and 124th in tackles for loss allowed (60), so this was pretty much a normal night for UT.

the rant needs to stop skimming through headlines and thinking they now understand football.

Tennessee is completely rebuilding this year. They only had 28 rushing yards against Florida. Our rushing game put up over 200 on a good Florida front 7. This game will be close. They are an average rushing team and our DT's have played with much better physicality and technique the last two weeks. The young guys have grown up.

If you think the initial point spread is to get people to bet then you know zero about how it works in any way.

Wait, you don't think initial lines are released to try to get as many people as possible to bet?
