Probably his logic:

- UK had UF beaten ... but blew it.

- UF had LSU beaten ... but dropped it.

I sure as hell hope Herbie is wrong ... but, it's not an insulting pick.

Personally, I think he is wrong.

UK should have beaten Florida and Florida should have beaten LSU. We're gonna get kentucky's best shot and Mark stoops is gonna have a good gameplan. Meanwhile LSU is gonna come out in there same ole bullshite I-formation. So its not a shocking pick

It's a trendy pick. Can't say I blame him. Remember when everyone said Miss St. was a trendy pick. But, I have LSU in my Pick 'Em's.

Herbie's big personal disappointment was us beating his beloved Buckeyes for the NC.

His biggest professional embarrassment, and gaff, was the early reporting of CLM bailing early to go to UM.

In a close contest, Herbie will always pick against LSU. They don't make enough Gold Bond to soothe his LSU butthurt.

During the same segment, Chris Fowler said that LSU fans in Baton Rouge aren't very rational.

That doesn't sound like us?

They all got a big laugh out of that one.

Every time LSU is mentioned they cut up.

They respect Buga though.
