Zardon made a nice diving stop to his left and threw out Bryce Jordan to start the bottom of the 2nd.

All of Stevenson's hits were solid except for the one in the 3rd when he hit off Jordan's glove to Robertson who threw to Poche late covering the bag.

Deichmann got hurt in the bottom of the 5th while on 2nd. On a pickoff by Devall, he seemed to jam something diving back to the bag. He left the field with a trainer.

Laird's last swing of batting practice was a homer into the RF bleachers.
