The ONLY thing "less effective" than the measures so far is licking the sweaty a-hole of a dying ebola patient.

I just don't get it.
If they implemented travel restrictions, why would they have to discontinue the screening process?
And if the answer is that they're only screening people from the already-infected countries, wouldn't it be EVEN BETTER if they simply told those people they couldn't come here?
Color me CONFUSED.

Yes. Most people asking for travel bans are asking for rejections using visas to the U.S. Screening is just taking the temps for the most part. We already know they lie on the questionnaire's.

Last night on Fox, Geraldo said that Obama should appoint General Russel Honore as the ebola czar.
At least he would be a no BS appointee.

Oh yeah, I believe Obama actually said just now during the press conference room show they put on". Obama said - "We've got to get Ebola at the source"
Only problem is, it sounded like he was talking like Texas was the source and not Africa. Did I hear this correctly?

You ban all contaminated countries by passport and any visas on the passport within last 6 months from those same countries...and you still take temps of all passengers from any country. Pretty easy to do with competent leaders. No passport no entry....except the failure to secure the Mexican border....but that's another failure of a different color

I hear this a lot, and it's absolutely logical.
However I don't see how that makes screening direct flights from infected areas a bad idea. It's a common sense starting point.
