I say 600 before it's all said and done.

Are we including people that turn into zombies from the ebola and are technically dead but not?
If we are I got the WAY over.

Ebola stricken patients tripled in a week. So based on that in several weeks......do the math. Not enough isolation rooms and care for everyone.

4
And two of those will probably be killed by a combination of Ebola and a massive heart attack due to over reaction

I don't know, but this furthers the debate for an ebola board. Since, according to most on here, an ebola apocalypse is right around a corner, maybe we should get a survivalist board so those who have no idea what to do.

Way Over. The "protocols" are a joke. And we have no idea what kind of wild cards may be out there-Unknown Unknowns, if you will, and we have an inflated sense of our control over nature. We also have a culture that ridicules legitimate concern as if because something has not yet happened, it naturally follows that it can't happen.
I think this one gets away from us because we aren't treating it like a Public Health Emergency and taking into serious account the worst case scenario. I sincerely hope I'm proven 100% wrong in every respect and later ridiculed for my pessimism and fatalistic views.

My bro in law doctor who is about the most level headed cat I know called us last night and said to start taking precautions. He seems to think it's going to get out of hand. As far as a number I have know idea. I think if it gets into the double digits on upwards to 50 it is going to cause a massive clusterfrick.

I'd guess somewhere around 45 cases and 20 deaths, with most of the deaths being cases contracted outside of the US.
