LSU baseball practice schedule for this week + Wed thru Fri stats last week

From the LSU baseball office.

Upcoming Schedule

Monday: Practice 3:00pm; Scrimmage 5:00pm

Tuesday: Practice 3:00pm; Scrimmage 4:00pm

Wednesday: Practice 3:00pm; Scrimmage 5:00pm

Thursday: Practice 3:00pm; Scrimmage 5:00pm

Friday: Practice 3:00pm; Scrimmage 4:00pm

*** All practices are open to the public***

***Scrimmage times are approximate and subject to change***



Wed-Fri Scrimmage Leaders

Chris Chinea went 3-for-6 with a double and 3 RBI

Conner Hale went 3-for-9 with a double, home run, and 5 RBI

Danny Zardon went 2-for-7 with a double and 3 RBI

Freshman Infielder Grayson Byrd went 2-for-5 with a double

Hunter Devall pitched two scoreless innings

Sophomore right-hander Collin Strall pitched two scoreless innings

Freshmen right-handers Jake Godfrey and Alex Lange each pitched one scoreless inning with a strikeout

You're welcome. I don't know any gun numbers. That type of info was not included in the email I got from the baseball office.

Im excited about Byrd. Especially as an Cle Indians fan I followed his dads career for a while. Hoping he can bring it as a freshman.

Did they finally start putting the gun readings on the scoreboard? They weren't there Mon and Wed.

They definitely had the readings on the scoreboard on Friday.

Lange was consistently hitting 92 and topping out at 94.

Devall was consistently at 86.

Bugg was 88-92 but 90 was his most common. Newman was similar, maybe 1 mph less.

I didn't realize they were up there while Godfrey and Poche pitched.
