I watched the last episode of season 8 last night. I knew from other's comments that the show let down a lot of people with its ending.
I have to say that I agree. What a silly way to end the show.
Oh well. At least I am finished with it.

Season 4 was too good. The show had nowhere to go but down.

The fact that most everyone says 1-4 great, 5-8 not means it's in fact not overrated.

How I am with Sons of Anarchy right now, because it is has been awful for a while now but I want to finish it.
And yes, last few season of Dexter were flaming piles of crap. Last season was beyond awful.

I loved every season. I didn't like the ending. I don't understand why everyone says 5-8 are bad. Maybe not as good as 1-4 but it is an all time great show

The last season ruined any all-time great talk about this show. It was that bad. The episode could have redeemed it some but it tanked also.
Seasons 5-7 were still good though. I would crowd fund $400 for them to redo a proper ending or even just to re-edit something realistic and satisfying.
