The commissioner in my league has played against the league high scorer in 4 of the first 6 weeks of the season.

Its a .5 PPR league with an extra FLEX starter.

The league weekly average points scored per team is 114.4. His average points against is 143.6

Happens every year man, lol. Fantasy is nothing more than matchups week in and week out. Guy in my league 3 years back had the 2nd highes point total and finished with 4 wins on the season. Doesn't matter what kind of team you have, matters more who you get stuck playing in a given week.

There is someone in my league that just picked up their 2nd win this season scoring under 70 points. He won 68-55 and 2 weeks ago 67-55. He will be 3-3 now. That type of luck happens too, unfortunately. I have 132 this week and may lose.

Sounds like me. I'm going to be 1-5 after this week and having zero luck on my side.

i lost after scoring 155 this week, 120 last week, and 142 in week 2. Have 80 total points more than the next team 3-3 and in 6th fricking place.

Exactly.

I've been thinking about trying to get my league to do the two wins a week style. I like head to head but people get screwed like we said.

The top 5 scorers get a win no matter who they are playing. Then the head to head matchups go as normal. So ever week there is a chance for 2 wins.

I'm 3-3 with the most points in the league by a good bit.

Last year the guy that ended up with the 2nd most points, dind't make the playoffs. He lost to me 183-182, lost to me again 155-154, had two games that ended tied and he lost both tie breakers, and also lost to the worst player in the league that got one win all year b/c he put up 160 the week he played him, when his average was under 100.

worst luck i've ever seen.

Im 4-2 in one league and both of my loses are flukey. One I lost by like 7 points. The other one he scored 77 points where the average score in this league is in the 120s and I scored 56.

Which site do y'all use? Some of the ppl in my league are wanting to switch to an all play system, but I don't think ESPN offers that. Your system seems like a nice compromise.

This sounds a bit like league bowling.

rtsports can probably handle that. We use yahoo and just keep track in a spreadsheet that I made. Took maybe 30 mins to set up, and then all I have to do is enter the scores each week. LINK

I've now lost 2 games by a combined 5 points, both of which featured players suffering season-ending injuries

Can't be worse than that

We use ESPN, I don't know if it is an option on there or not. We don't currently use the 2 wins format. Just regular head to head.

So the playoffs are all "manual"?
If not how do you enter that into yahoo?

I'm going to go in to influence the scores to make it work for yahoo. I have the playoffs already set up to work in my excel spreadsheet. Just didn't upload them to that Google doc.

The commish in my league will most likely drop to 0-6 this week. He's had 3 terrible weeks and 3 great weeks where he played the highest scorer.
