Belated Birthday Wishes to Harris and Dupre!!
October 12, 1995 turned out to be a great day for LSU fans. Tiger fans just didn't know it yet.
On this day 19 years ago, freshmen Brandon Harris and Malachi Dupre were both born in Louisiana. Harris and Dupre panned out to be two of the top-ranked prospects in one of the state's deepest classes ever, with Dupre leaving high school as the No. 2 wide receiver in the country and Harris the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback.
Harris has already earned his first college start, and he's seen action in six of LSU's seven games, closing out the first half of the regular season at 25-of-44 passing for 452 yards and six touchdowns. He's also rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns. Dupre has hauled in 11 catches for 257 yards and four touchdowns, all coming from Harris.
They are 2/3 of the Bayou Trio w/LF: They Came To Take the SEC. Their play is always elevated by the special bond the three of them have and their strong commitment to LSU.
