what would have happened if hayden rettig stayed?

I know practicing is completely different than game time and AJ may have looked better than Rettig last year in those very practices, but could he really have been that much worse than AJ to think he would always be overshadowed by him and harris? I mean Jennings is better at throwing the ball as high as he can than towards the receiver unless it's a Melvin Jones screen...

Given the limitations on the offense right now could he have not handed the ball off at least as well as Jennings? It would have given both Jennings and Harris another year to develop

I don't know if Broadway Joe Namath could help our passing attack. Jennings ain't very good but it's the scheme. So elementary.

Rettig was too accurate with passes and was off on his handoffs. Neither of which is conducive to the LSU, I mean Les offense.
