IR extender recommendation for you guys

I bought some of these for my house. I ran hdmi cables from a cabinet in my living room to all the TV locations. I was able to put all of the cable boxes in one cabinet. It sends the IR signal over hdmi. After doing research, this ended up being the cheapest option for what I was trying to do. Way cheaper than trying to do harmony remotes, and slightly cheaper than hdmi and IR over cat 6.
