My problem with the Amazing Race

They always make the travel to the next destination even, I understand it's good TV but what good is an hour win when you have to wait six for the next mode of transportation.

This was always a peeve of mine to when I use to watch it, but you realize that they have to do it otherwise there would be teams that could be days ahead and it would be a logistical nightmare for the crew.

This. What I don't like is that, if they're waiting for a tourist attraction or something similar to open, once the doors open everyone can rush in.

I'm not saying make the teams in 2nd, 3rd, etc.. wait the true difference in time for when they arrived but at least assess penalties in 15 or 30 min intervals.

Watch the earlier seasons. The actual travel was a bigger part of a show and the contestants had much more freedom in how they traveled. While entertianing, a lot of times some teams would end up days behind.

My biggest problem with the show this year is the Friday time slot. I haven't been able to watch it at all.
