I'm going to see The Eagles Wednesday night !!!

So my brother who lives in Corpus Christi called me and said I'm flying you to San Antonio to see the The Eagles with us. All expenses paid 
I understand many of you may not be impressed with this band, but I grew up in the 70's. They were pretty damn good back then. This may be their last tour.

I didn't say The Eagles were my favorite band, they never were, but there music brings back some nice memories. The opportunity presented itself to take a couple of days off and see a concert, I don't get many of these, so I'll try to enjoy it, even though a guy on a music board said they make horrible music.

Haha, I decided to go to a movie with my son a few years ago, We had no idea what movie we would watch, so when we got there,this 3d movie "Phish" was playing. Neither of us had ever heard of it, we decided to watch it, bad decision !

I saw them in February in N.O. Outstanding show. Starts out with Glenn Frey and Don Henley doing an acoustic song or two. One by one, each of the members joins in, until Joe Walsh comes out for about the 4th or 5th song. Everyone goes nuts. It's like hanging out with a bunch of old friends.
I really hate that a whole generation has been turned off of the Eagles because of one line from one movie. There's a reason that The Eagles, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best selling album of the 20th Century.
