That dude couldn't look all SEC against air.

ETA: For all you sky is falling types, our defense has looked bad only against two top offenses. There have been 4 other games that our D has looked more than capable. Let's see how it plays out first before saying everyone is going to light us up.

I have a real bad feeling about it as well. If our defense can't stop Driskel then we truly are pathetic. I will reserve judgement until it happens though.

i realize our two losses have been to two of the best qb's/teams in the country.

unfortunately, and this is my personal opinion, i think we have fundamental flaws throughout every position wether its personnel and/or scheme.

If Matt Jones doesn't get 40 carries, I'll be shocked. If Muschamp is not a complete idiot, he'll use the run to open up the run. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if Driskell doesn't attempt a pass.

Just amazes me how people don't get this. LSU has played the best two offenses in the SEC, and it's not even close.

It's funny, over on the rant, that Henry Jones guys says there is absolutely no way possible that LSU can beat Ole Miss.

I really hope LSU can win tonight, and then get a "good" win next week over a 5-1 Kentucky team. If so, the momentum will be strong for LSU for the Ole Miss game, and the crowd will be electric. These next two weeks are HUGE for LSU. The comical thing is that a win by LSU over Ole Miss could vault LSU ahead of Ole Miss in the poles....after ALL of that talking by Ole Miss, how comical would that be?

holy shite, you can't make this stuff up. Only on the damn rant. You guys need to learn that it's not about yards anymore, like it used to be. Now, it is about scoring.....but with these new offenses, the yard thing is MUCH less meaningless....now, LSU has given up average 38 points to both teams....I don't expect that will happen going forward. Relax dude, LSU has a LOT of talent on defense. Sometimes you just get beat.

I'm pretty sure most of our fan base gets this point..its the losses in blowout fashion that makes you scratch your head and subsequently cast doubts on just how many steps back we've taken since our championship run a few years ago.

So many doubters in our fanbase....smh

I have faith our guys will step up and play better than they did last week. Driskell isn't Dak Prescott or Nick Marshall.

New Mexico State had a QB that ran 70 yards straight up the gut

Besides that one busted play, what else did they do? Some of you "fans" are pathetic.

LSU's on-field football fate reflects on you as a person, and all your non-LSU peers know this. There is a lot at stake for you today.

so you just proved my point when i said we have fundamental flaws with personnel and/or SCHEME

scheme meaning why are we still playing man to man 90 percent of the time when most offenses are spread with 5 wideouts. you can't expect safeties to cover man to man all game.
