Not that the teams are that similar but I think the game goes similarly. They will absolutely struggle passing against us but I feel that they will pound the ball up the middle and have some "gadget" plays with their recievers in space.

Again..: the biggest questions

1. Can we convert better than 50% on third down ?

2 can we get off the field early on defense ?

3 can we eliminate big plays defensively?

If yes to all three ... 24-10 Tigers (or better)

I'm thinking Army-Navy with a splash of GT-Ga So.

This is the big one. How many second and shorts did we have against auburn? Play calling and execution in situations like that must improve.

I think 40% would win the game, but with our current SEC percentage at 8, 25 would be astronomical.

Comes down to whether LSU's defense can stop UF running the football. I think the Tigers need a few turnovers to win this one. We know exactly what UF is going to do. On offense they are going to run it up the gut, on defense they are going to force LSU to pass. There are some similarities between UF and Wisconsin.

Can LSU convert more than 0% third down conversions?

I agree with all that.

FL doesn't have anywhere near the rushing attack of Wisconsin usually, but they did last time we were there.

If Wisconsin had even a Driskill wannabe, they win that one going away. The forward pass in Rockne's day looked more developed than Wisconsin's and Florida's vs Tennessee.

I do recall something similar to that happening at FL when Lee led us to a last second win that included the over the shoulder bounce faked FG first down.

Both of these teams competing today are shells of those teams. I do have sympathy for those going into this game with unrealistic expectations.

Are you insane? Driskel has the worst ypa than any QB LSU has had playing in the Miles tenure. Right now, he has 5 TDs to 6 ints in 4 games, and has less passing yards than Jennings despite throwing it over 40 more times.

The guy is a piece of garbage at QB. His WRs are garbage. It's pretty much the Wisconsin game, but without Melvin Gordon.

All that was needed was a little arm strength with a spiral that didn't look like a punt.

We were sold out to stop the run in the second half. They had a FS playing QB.

Driskell, as bad as he has been, would have won that game for Wisconsin. Also a more elusive runner than Wisconsin's failed experiment.

Stave, yips and all, eventually was given the job experimentally, because Anderson knew this to be true.

Who beat us 14-6 over there last time with a Jefferson like performance?

Didn't we have a QB w 2 wide receivers now on NFL rosters?

Nothing personal, man, just prepare yourself and you'll be alright.

I'm aware of that.

Not sure everybody else is though.
