Any cool primitive camping spots in Tx

All I've got is a sleeping bag and Off, but I'm cool stretching out in back of my truck. Beats couchsurfing and going to save my little funds for cool shite in cool cities at least until I can find me a hustle which I can usually do fairly easy.
Just wanting to pick yalls brains, what little you guys have at least.

Back when I was in Texas I was fond of Lost Maples state park. There's good primitive camping spots and this time of year with the leaves turning it should be spectacular.

I'll be up at Inks in a couple of weeks. Not primitive, mind you, but one of the nice spots with water. Temps should finally be decent by that time. Set a record here with 93 degrees today.
