Signing, yes, certainly. The signature being partially on the stamp/license, nah.

For purposes of enforcement, putting a signature either works or doesn't. Unless someone has the same name with an picture id that looks like you...

I have been checked by the feds several times each year and they tend to dot their Is and cross their T's. I keep mine signed and in my wallet like a dollar bill have never had a problem like that.

Just thinking, if you want to stick it on your lifetime license but want to be able to take it off and collect after season, maybe put a layer of clear packaging tape first then stamp on it. That shite is easy to peel off.
