Actually, your two recommended must-sees, Solyaris and Seventh Seal. I haven't seen either.

I think so too. Been wanting to see Solyaris for a while. Don't know much about Seventh Seal.

I happened to see this playing on TCM or something a little while back and DVR'd it. I watched it last weekend.
Wow. I had heard that this movie influenced a ton of modern films, and it was really easy to pick up on them. Very glad I watched it.
Still like this version better.
