Martin vs. Baltimore
Steven Jackson vs. Chicago
Moreno vs. GreenBay

Who do you start in a PPR league?

I have Moreno and Jackson on my team and am debating the exact scenario in a PPR league.

if Moreno's status goes to probable, I'm definitely giving him the star. Even SJax at home, it's more RBBC whereas I think Moreno will get a lot more snaps than Lamar.

Moreno is a tricky situation right now. I dont think he plays unless they absolutely need him. Its GB, so the odds of them running the ball much beyond the first quarter is slim. Why risk injury to the better back if youre already down... I just dont see Moreno getting a lot.

But I have made a mistake... once.

I have Martin/SJax and I'm going SJax

TB uses Rainey in pass game a lot, so it basically comes down to who can score a TD. Martin/SJax won't put up a ton of yards, but good chance SJax scores inside the 5. Chicago run D isn't as bad as it used to be, but ATL is playing at home and he's still getting 15-20 touches per game

Martin prob gets more touches,

Jackson against a bad run D. But they have 3 other RB they are giving touches to, and Anotne Smith is coming on HOT

At this point, I think Martin could get 40 carries and still wouldn't even crack 100 yards

valid point, although still convinced Mike Smith is an idiot. SJax continues to 20 touches a game even though it looks like he's running with a piano on his back

Jackson hasn't had more than 14 carries in a game this year.

He's averaging 13 carries per game, and 15 touches overall.

I think i read Smith admitting Antone needs more carries

He had 18 touches last week. Caught five passes.

You have to consider game flow, too. Atlanta got blown out against Minnesota and was playing from behind. Tampa Bay, the offense didn't even need to do much.

NYG was a decent indicate of his usage. 15-18 touches a game. Minimal production but opportunity for a goal line TD.

Smith needs to get the ball to Smith more. I don't know why they use 4 RBs either. Jackson and Smith should split early down reps with Freeman as the passing back.

yea i was just saying on average. 15 overall on average. No more than 14 carries in any game.

he also ran for 2.8 YPC

I think his time is running short

I think it was over last year

But like I said for whatever reason he still gets majority of the touches.

Imagine if he was on Oakland or Jacksonville, he'd probably average negative yards per carry

Doug Martin over both. Lamar played real well in Moreno's absence so i find it hard to believe that he will immediately come back taking the lionshare
