ok i could see this in some of the less developed countries, but not a country like Norway. Completely fricked up.

that is true somewhat, but that much different in age and at 12? wasnt' it usually 14-15 and marrying 20 year old or so? Yes now it is definitely unacceptable but a different time then.

My wife's grandmother was wed at 12. Really common not long ago.

It's cultural not moral.

My grandmother was 15 when she married my grandfather who was 25, but that was in 1914.
