2007? I think this is why so many LSU fans are ready to turn on Miles right now. We've been close, but haven't really won much more than cotton and outback bowls since 2007. Is a Cotton Bowl win every 7 years really that much to be completely satisfied?

I guess it depends on the opponent. I think the Outback Bowl is a pretty decent bowl but I wasn't too thrilled about playing Iowa.

I wasn't very satisfied to be 9-3 and going to play in the Outback Bowl last year with all the talent we had. So much talent that after they left, we're struggling to even compete against anyone in the West.

Our last win, in the Outback Bowl, was good don't you think? Destroying Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl was pretty OK, but it was only ND, right?

You are aware that this was in 2006 right? 8 years ago correct?

We've won our division once in the past 7 years. This is why everyone gets so upset quickly.

I don't have a problem with that. No one here seems to remember another game against a Little 10 opponent not too long after that.

ETA: There's no such thing as a bad bowl win.

I'll save this for hopefully after we beat UF and UK and then beat La Tech in Shreveport.

Please do. Would you rather lose to La Tech in Shreveport?!?!?

Thats our only decent bowl win since 2007. And Cotton Bowls are good but we laugh A&M out of the building when they go around bragging about their cotton bowl victory. It's just nothing to brag or be ashamed about

I also felt like LSU got screwed in 2012. I mean we beat aTm and they go to the Cotton to play Oklahoma.

Won't have to worry about telling them no. Indy Bowl doesn't have a SEC tie-in anymore so no chance we're invited there.

Elevating the Birmingham "Gump" Bowl over the Independence and Liberty was wrong. Both paid more...both had longer traditions...and both are better places to be.

Screw the SEC HQ!
