Go to the 24:45 mark. Muschamp "says what Les can't say".

It's an obvious statement. But, just interesting to hear another coach say it.

what did he say? Did muschamp say how shitty his offense was too? Or how their d got shat on by alabama? Or was it getting a gift in ot to beat kentucky? For a guy on the hot seat it really doesnt matter what he says about LSU. It should be about how his team is going to turn this around so he can keep his job.

Been saying that for year and a half on here.
We simply don't have the horses we used to.

(Paraphrasing) states that he will say what Les can't say, because no one wants to hear it. But, losing 18 players in two years to the NFL is impossible to replace and takes a toll on the team. Also, mentioned that some underclassmen will tell the coach in January that their opting for the draft and the coaches are dumbfounded by their decision.

He was actually very respectful. Just said that it's not possible to get back to the same level of defense after losing that many players to the NFL two years in a row. Noted that he can say that for Les because Les, of course, can't say/admit that.

A little sensitive? He was very professional, and defended the fact that it hurts and it is usually something that cant be planned for......sounds to me like every team is affected by it, us more than any other, but that everyone needs to start figuring it out.

You are right, it doesn't. But it is nice to hear it from another professional football coach.

Even when he was specifically asked about the LSU defense?

Was listening to Billy Packer and Houston Nutt yesterday on their talk show...an LSU caller called in and was complaining.....Nutt jumped in and said that LSU will be back on top within a year or two, but that the struggles are directly related to losing all of those early entrees.....

Sounds to me like Muschamp is positioning himself for DC next year.

People asking for quotes or Cliffs... The guy tells you it's at the 24:45 mark...so here's a thought. Click the link....let it download for a minute... Then slide the bar over to that spot. It truly didn't take that much effort

If only we could get everyone on the Rant to listen to that minute-long reply from Muschamp.

It would be interesting to see a thread on how all these players leaving early have done in the NFL. I know some have done well but I think many haven't.
