This team can turn things around and improve

I think this team will go 8-4. Harris will show flashes of how good he can be, but also make costly errors at times. The defense can only get better from here. Can't wait to watch the tigers punch the gators in the mouth and make a statement

No. I'm pretty much on par with that sentiment. This board is full of mostly over-reactive group-thinkers. I see us settling down and improving throughout the year, winning the ones we should win, and pulling out 1 or two upsets along the way. I could see 7-5/8-4

I'm in, and I will continue to watch every snap of every game...if above ground 
Football season takes forever to get here, and goes by too fast to bitch about coaches and players who are doing a job most on the Rant couldn't dream of accomplishing.

To be real, with limited practice time to improve some major problem areas between some very tough games coming up, I just don't see us getting to 8-4.
To win 2-3 more would be a huge task for this young team.

If Miles gets this team to 8-4, it will be the best coaching job he has ever done (he should be in the running for SEC coach of the year).
We have two 3rd down conversions on offense so far in SEC play and have given up over 1000 yards while on defense in SEC play.
That is ineptitude usually reserved for Sly Croom MSU teams and 1990s Vandy teams.

Agreed - from this point on. Up to this point, it's the worst coaching he's ever done here. No excusing or defending the State/AU games.

Hoping this happens
Beat UF with new personnel getting most of snaps. We then thrash Kentucky at home by 14. We upset Ole Miss because of their almost non existent run game.
Coming off bye invigorated, we lose a close one to Bama, and then eek out a win at Arky.
After we get our second bye, we are pretty much ready to take on TAMU with their lightweight run game.
Hoping for 9-3. Realistic with improvements, 8-4, pie in the sky 10-2.

Ain't that the truth. After our inevitable 12-10 victory against UF (Driskel with a last minute safety to seal the Tiger victory), I fully expect to see Monday morning threads breathlessly calculating how, with the right tiebreakers, we might still be in the SEC West race.
