Opinions on owning 2 WR's on one team?

-12 team/PPR
-I own Julio Jones
For some reason, Roddy White was dropped in my league earlier in the season. I used my top 3 waiver wire pick up to grab him with the mindset of flipping him for another WR or maybe a RB.
Just closed a deal and got Keenan Allen. Really don't know what to think about the trade. Allen has a lot of potential, but it appears that White is more dependable on a week to week basis.
Anyway, the point of my thread is; what are your opinions on owning 2 WR's on the same team?

I don't like it. Occasionally an offense will be a record breaking one like some of the Broncos, Saints and Packers of the past five years.
For the most part, only one really has a chance of producing great numbers each week. In addition, it makes byes more difficult, and if the team struggles (key injury - Ryan; or really tough defense) two valuable fantasy spots don't end up producing.

That's mostly my feelings too.
I think I'm going to cross my fingers and hope Roddy sucks it up and Allen comes into form like he did last season

Broncos and Packers are the only teams Id take a chance doing that.

As a WR1 and WR2, I would be ok with:
Jordy/Cobb
Marshall/Alshon
DT88/Sanders
But, I would prefer them to be on different teams, if everything else is equal.
I would be ok with Julio as an WR1 and Roddy as a flex.

Points are points. Start your best players. I have no problem with it if Roddy is your second best receiver.

Yea, points are points, but you are cutting your possible points in half by starting two same position players on one team.

You made the right move IMO.
