Any idea why they changed the name of Edge of Tomorrow to this on DVD? I was looking for when it came out and couldn't find it, only to find they changed the name of the movie midstream.

You sure it's not that company that makes the cheap knockoffs and hopes people buy them on accident, a la Transmorphers.

because edge of tomorrow was a terrible title and no doubt led to poor box office performance.

It was suppose to be called All you need is kill, after the source material, but they changed it because the word kill is scary.

The changed it to Live Die Repeat because the Edge of Tomorrow didn't get enough publicity and they thought a name change might get it some more.

Interesting. I saw it without even knowing that it had been changed back in June.

Great movie IMHO.

They didn't change it. They just placed significantly more emphasis on the tag line.

It's no longer a tag line, it's part of the title.

Definitely. Right behind Guardians of the Galaxy for most fun I've had at the theater this summer.

It appears to be this simple to me.

Budget: $180 million

Gross: $370 million

It's not like it was a flop.

Worldwide it did better than Minority Report and did better than Oblivion domestically.

I have not seen it so not saying it's a bad movie, but it would appear to be a terrible movie based solely on the trailers.

It is really good.

The marketing was terrible.

This. A thread on here is the only reason I saw it.

The marketing was very bad.
