Does Directv offer theCW in HD in the Baton Rouge area?

I'm in Georgia, but had the same problem. Ordered an HD antenna through Amazon and now I get the show over the air in HD.

Only downside, I have to watch it live and sit through the commercials.

Does HULU offer the episode the next day, or is it a week behind with Arrow? My wife and might have to cut cable because of her doctors visits(woohoo pregnancy), and our cars keep getting sick.

You can go to cw.com and get the episode, I think the next day, maybe sooner.

FINALLY got time to watch the newest episode (work killed me this week).

Alright, so! first off, this thread got real okcupid.com pretty fast. interesting.

the episode was pretty enjoyable. i really dont care for katana and her husband. the flashbacks bore me to death as well. am i misremembering but isnt the hong kong stuff aiming towards OMAC? i feel like they will connect to the ray palmer stuff. interesting twist to make ray more like iron man.

i DESPERATELY want a bad arse scene with Ray. for some reason his character just works for me. as bamatab mentioned, this episode did a great job with the side characters. they all worked really well, even Laurel, who has gotten back to her season 1 hotness.

so something crossed my mind. detective lance knew sara was the canary. so will he think laurel is sara? how is this going to work? hes gotta realize something is up.

im ready for slades return.

Did the showrunners say in an interview or something that the flashbacks will tie to OMAC? I would bet my house the flashbacks will show what drove Maeso to The League, and will show how working for Waller further changed Oliver. But it would make total sense to have it also tie into OMAC.

I think the whole Lance not knowing about Sara's death is kind of lame. I don't think if Laural told him he'd have another heart attack. He's a cop for goodness sakes. Hopefully they have something major planned for him when he does find out.

Speaking of Thea...

What's the deal with her continually showing off her stomach, this season. Are they trying to make her more appealing than the whining spoiled brat we got before?

BTW, I really like her new haircut. I dunno, it kinda turns me on.

Also, like the Black Canary butt shot. Here's to more of that type of camera work.

Honestly im starting to think the OMAC thing was just an Easter egg or that if anything comes of it it'll be on the rumored ATOM spin-off.

I think the flashbacks this season are being used to flesh out Oliver's relationship with Maseo and Tatsu, which in turn will advance the LoA storyline.

I could be wrong though and everything from the Alpha/Omega virus, ARGUS, the LoA, and OMAC are tied together somehow. Maybe its all leading up to H.I.V.E

I was a little let down by how Oliver survived. They went out of their way to show him receiving a fatal wound. Then all of a sudden it's wrapped with a bandage and he was coming to. I wasn't really a fan of the Lazarus pit either I'm not sure how I wanted to see it resolved but it just didn't seem right to me. I also thought they would drag it out a little longer.

Yeah, now he was "brought back to life". We will have to see how. Sounds like she traveled there after the duel too. If he was up there for 2-4 days he was undoubtedly dead.

Supposedly he will be back in Starling by the end of this week's episode. Which is an awfully quick turnaround.

I kind of was hoping that they'd wait for at least another episode before bringing him back. I was actually looking forward to seeing Diggle, Roy, Felicity, and Laurel be on their own for a little while longer. Hopefully the showrunners let them take down Brick without Oliver (after struggling for a while). But if Oliver is going to be back by the end of this next episode, then I'm guessing they continue to struggle until Oliver gets back, and he helps them take Brick down.

He's not back until episode 12, the episode after this weeks. Episode 13's summary even says he has trouble reintegrating into the team.

quote:

VERTIGO (GUEST STAR PETER STORMARE) RETURNS AND PITS CANARY AGAINST BLACK CANARY — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is thrown by the changes within Team Arrow. He’s used to calling the shots but sees that the team has evolved in his absence and tensions quickly escalate in the lair. Oliver is furious that Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has been going out as the Black Canary and tells her to stop risking her life, but when Vertigo (guest star Peter Stormare) hits the streets again, Laurel goes against Oliver’s wishes and tracks down Vertigo who hits her with a full dose of the drug. Laurel’s biggest fears revolve around her sister Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) so the Vertigo causes her to hallucinate an epic fight between Canary and Black Canary. Meanwhile, Chase (guest star Austin Butler) surprises Thea (Willa Holland), and Roy (Colton Haynes) warns Thea to stay away from Malcolm (John Barrowman). Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Emilia Ortega Aldrich.

So yea, no Oliver to save the day against Brick.

That episode 13 summary sounds pretty good. Sounds like by the end of episode 12 the Oliver-less team finally has their crap together as a functional team. Then Oliver comes back and ruins it. I kind of like that direction, but they'll have to walk a fine line not to turn Oliver into a whiny arse puss.

Sounds like we get Caity for another episode!

There was a promo for Wednesdays episode (I think for whatever channel that airs the show in Asia) that kind of spoils a big plot point about DJ Douchebag.

Watch if you want spoilers

i also agree that Oliver shouldve stayed "dead" this episode. it wasnt even a full episode of him being gone. somewhat lame. and i agree that him just sleeping and being wrapped in a bandage and coming to was a bit of a stretch. hopefully they go into more detail later about this. i expect they will and itll be something oliver has to struggle with moving forward.

Anyway. Laurel looking damn good again
