If he averages 2,000 pts over the next 8 seasons, he'll finish with 39,170 pts. Kareem has 38,387 pts. Lebron has 23,170 right now.

and then like right after that Durant's gonna pass him...

Bron's due for an injury in that timeframe... remember how healthy and limber we thought Kobe was and it happened to him...

To do that he would have to play 80 games a year and average 25 pts a game.

I think he can keep that pace up for the next 4 years. But after that his games played and pts should decrease.

Also it's possible his points go down a little bit this year with Kyrie, Love, and Dion Waters all being legitimate scorers.

He will surpass Kobe and MJ. Not Kareem IMO

It's not like Kobe never had an injury history before that.

No, they don't factor playoff points into it. Lebron is currently 8th in playoff points. Jordan leads with 5,987 points, Kobe is third with 5,640, Duncan is 5th with 4,988, and Lebron is 8th, with 4,419 among active players.

Well, if he could play til he's like 38 or 40, he wouldn't have to avg as much. Then, maybe he could do it, no?

Can he? Definitely. Will he? That's another discussion. He's not a score-first player, and really never has been. LeBron could easily score like Durant night in and night out, but that's just not his game. Much more well-rounded. He probably won't finish first in a ton of categories, but he'll be near the top in damn near every one of them, which IMO, is more impressive.

It will be interesting to see how Lebron's game changes as he ages. Will he turn into more of an elite PF or will he start spotting up on the perimeter and just play defense.

He's developed a good post game and a good perimeter game so we shall see.
