according to Miles yesterday, the defensive line played good against Auburn. If that was good, I would hate to see bad! They scored on their first 4 possesions while the defense was still fresh. This can nor be blamed on lack of offense. Thet drove the length of the field almost twice!

Hunter showed tremendous energy and effort, and often found himself making tackles 20 yards down field.

They actually played the run better than I thought they would. That shows you how low my expectations were.

You are nothing but a basher on here. The truth is that the DL did play better. If you watch the game again, objectively, you will see that the DL made a lot of stops at or near the line of scrimmage. This is an improvement. Sure, Auburn broke a few...it is what they do with their offense, but by and large....the DL played much better. Auburn made some plays.....especially some early big pass plays that broke things open...against good coverage I might add.

Quit being a miserable piece of shite and trying to put blame on everyone you can....sometimes you just get your azz whipped....LSU got it whipped by a pretty good football team, on the road, with some revenge in mind from last year.....they will improve moving forward.

If your offense converts NO first downs in a game how can you expect your defense to continue to perform? Some of you people need to get a life and stop living your fantasy through these 19 and 20 yr old kids...

I think they will improve as well, how much and will it matter in terms of Ws and Ls, I don't know.

If you actually go back and watch the game they stopped a majority of interior runs sans the QB draw........

I think we did stop runs up the middle pretty decently.

They did play better. The LBs were not in the gaps and seemed to bite on fakes way too much or get blocked easily by a single blocker.

DL didn't play all world, but they played better than they have been and were not the reason we lost.

Lose a game, or lose a game 41-7. I challenge you to find a unit that performed well in a 41-7 loss. I know, we racked up a bunch of kickoff return yards.
