How much longer will LSU put up with mediocrity? How much longer will they allow Les miles to coach, until he retires, or until all the other teams in the SEC West have caught up to team's the talent level... oh wait? Les Miles has been winning on solely talent alone ever since he came to LSU. He gets paid 4.5 million/yr. to cross his arms and be bull-headed on the sideline, play way to conservative, and have poor clock management... He cost us the National Championship in 2011, and has cost us several wins over the years. LSU will NEVER win another National Championship or SEC championship for that matter with Miles at the helm. LSU needs to hire a fire-ball coach who shows passion on the sideline and coaches up his players. Don't look now but this trend of arse whoppings is about to be common for football at LSU until change is made. I always be an LSU fan, win or lose purple and gold for life... but this is ridiculous... good thing I have hunting season to look forward to this fall so yes beat this horse to death until change happens

You don't lose the production on offense, or the defensive talent LSU lost over the past two seasons and be back in the top 10. Every analyst predicted a down year, but no one wanted to listen.

Youre a fricking idiot. How has survival of the fittest not taken you out. Hey how are usc, florida and Texas doing now? Teams with more money and a better recruiting base than LSU. Talent alone does not get Miles a top 3 win % in sec history. And that's what he has.
I hate our ignorant and entitled fan base.

Heres hoping for a 10-year contract extension for Miles.

The Gumps have lost close to that amount. For Les to not have QBs ready to take over is the problem. And to keep having players not stick around it also a problem.

another prediction was that we were to have one of the best if not the best OL in the country ...

Having had the recruiting results we were to have had in the last few years...a
down" turn should not be so extreme...we SHOULD still have WELL COACHED quality athletes on the field....
we may have athletes, but well coached ???

No, he did his job and beat Bama in the regular season. The mulligan and the powers that be cost us the championship.

The Gumps have now lost 3 straight games to ranked opponents.

After Saturdays loss the Bama board actually had people calling for Sabans job. You seem to be fitting right into that idiotic group.

Well there you have it. Damn that Les for getting us to that game allowing himself to cost us that game. We should have just lost to bama and he never would have cost us that championship.

You also don't instantly look like an fcs team because you lose talent.

Other teams lose talent. Other teams have freshmen they have to play. They don't sink this far.

I am so sick of this crap. If you are consistently in the top 5 or 10 in recruiting, you should have a chance at a Natty. Period. LSU has no chance at wining the SEC West and has been passed up by Kentucky and are toe to toe with Vandy. Don't forget, we should have lost to Wisconsin.

You reload with the talent you have been building and teaching up. Oh yea, we suck at that. We should have sone Sr's, many Jr's and many redshirt Sophs this year kickin arse and not leaving the staff to play so many young and scared freshman.

If you are good enough to go to the NFL after three, you go and LSU knows who is going to go after one year. Plan for it... if you know how, which we don't. Hence our current suck.

They lost a lil les than us and have won 2 more games than us. Seems on par if you ask me. They lose 1-2 more guys early and our record is probably even closer. We've lost 5 games they've lost 3.
