3rd Down Conversion % = 2/26

Everyone on here can complain/bitch about coaching etc for the next 20 years and 2/26 (7%) in SEC games will get you beat 100x out of 100.
Now, with Mett, Landry, Beckham and Hill, we led the nation in 3rd down conversions in 2013. While I agree with the schematic breakdowns like everyone else, the overreaction is classic on this site.
NFL players = Higher efficiency = More wins.
Should we not be in a position where we have 5 true freshmen starting, YES.

You forgot, the opposition's 3rd down % is way too high for LSU to win...again, a lot of 1st & 2nd year players on the field...
it has finally caught up with LSU...hopefully, some of these guys will stay more than 3 years and we will be back near the top, once again...
unless the apocalypse happens after this season, LSU should be pretty good for few years to come...

Everyone is in agreement that we should probably convert 3rd downs, ok so now that is settled
