Guys not wanting to play for each other? Cliques? Have never seen a team as talented as LSU play so poorly without this being the case. This is a horrible looking football team. AU could've scored 80 last night. MSU could've done the same. I knew there would be some bumps and bruises this year but this team isn't even trying. Lazy play, lack of prep, unorganized, etc.

Feels like complete conjecture. Which I guess is par for the course for a message board.

No, we don't have the talent or adaptability from the staff. Cliques? That's a joke and just an excus. Just like 1/9, no riff would do that but a bullheaded dumbass who won't try anything different will.

When so many things that are wrong are perfectly evident, why go fishing for other explanations?

I don't know about a "divided" locker room, but I sure don't see anyone, on either side of the ball, want to step up and be a leader. There is a huge lack of fire when I watch this squad perform. I think a lot of it deals with the fact we are so disjointed at this point in the season and the players are reeling from two fairly devastating losses.

I doubt it, we are simply not as talented as many think. Like it or not these coaches have won a lot of games. Having said that, the coaches seem to be wedded to a plan that isn't working. Every remaining opponent is capable of beating LSU...try something else.

I saw Kwon getting in the defenses face and challenging them after we scored our only TD, but besides that you're right. Lack of leadership

If I was in this locker room I probably wouldnt want to be playing under miles. Dont think the players are divided but our coaching staff sure has a lot of work infront of them if they wanna stay

T-Bob Hebert got in a fight in the lock room before the game yesterday.

There's no way to know whether locker room issue are a part of the problem. That stuff doesn't come out until later. However, for those of you completely dismissing the possibility, we've seen this problem come up in both 99 and 2008. In 99, the team hated Dinardo, split over the handling of QBs, and quit on him. The beating they handed a good Arkansas team in their final game without him outlined just how bad things were that year.

As for 2008, remember our own damn players fighting with each other headed back to the locker room after losing? I personally see a lot of parallels between this team and that one. The talent was all with the youth. Almost all of the vets were leftovers. Guys who weren't good enough to leave early. And none of them showed any leadership. In fact, in most cases, they were the problem.

As for this team, the vets being leftovers certainly applies. As for leadership, there are a few guys out there trying on D. As badly as they have played, they haven't quit. I saw guys encouraging each other when someone did make a play, even late.

But the offense was a different story. I saw a veteran line get whipped repeatedly. I saw a lot of frustration. There wasn't any spark. And like the coaching was a complete joke on D in 08, that's where the O is this year. I wouldn't be surprised if rifts develop on that side of the ball if things don't improve fast.

All conjecture, of course, but this could be an issue. But we may never know.
