I have a contract at my job but some of my salary comes from my ability to perform better than plan. How do these coaches keep getting raises for good-great years but yet nothing gets taken away on the down years? Same with assistants. They can get fired and still get bought out.

Does anyone know if they get bonuses based on rankings? I know they do for winning the SEC and or the National Championship but what about if we are top 5 in the SEC in defense? It would be good to see a contract for Chavis that his salary is what it is now but he is only guaranteed 2/3. The rest comes from recruiting and on field performance.

These coaches are under-performing and they get no backlash for it.

This. Alleva is bottom line to blame for future of the program. After Miles contract is up, Alleva will be gone.

Y'all do realize that the past 12 years have been the best years in the history of LSU football?

LSU is a bubble waiting to bust with miles as the coach. The stadium expansion, the higher ticket prices, the $40 campus parking.

And ALL of the coaches have been rewarded handsomely for it, yet not much to show for it outside of one championship.
