Question about pipeline run through property

Does anyone know a round about figure a company would pay to run a NG line through open farm land? I wanna say that I remember the measurements as "rods". Anybody know how big that is and an estimate of what a company would pay?

a rod is 16.5 feet

wow, that's a loaded question. What type of pipeline? Above, below ground? How many acres does it cover? What company?

Last one that passed thru one of my places for a 100' right a way that was a little over 900' wide was $6800. This was side by side to another line. Oh, I was also paid $1200 for each pecan tree.
