Desmond Brownlee, a husband and father, must have had a really hard day at work. Traditionally, you always save the big piece of chicken for the working man of the house. Apparently, this did not happen in the case of Brownlee, who became enraged because the chicken was gone. He engaged in a verbal argument with his wife, Shey Alamo, over the chicken and because of the care of Alamo’s mother. According to the police report, Alamo says the argument escalated and Brownlee pushed her towards the bedroom and shoved her onto the bed. While she was on the bed, he struck her multiple times in the face and then began to choke her.
