Ran across an article from the 1995 game - a portent?

Ran across two mentions of the 1995 game today.

- Jamie Howard was on the radio talking about the game and other Auburn games during his playing days.

- And I opened a closet in one of our offices and ran across an old Sports Illustrated from way back in Sept. 1995. They had a nice article on the last page about the game. (of course Wuerffel was plastered on the cover).

LSU beat Auburn 12-6 in that game. I'd like to say that there was a lot of similarities between that game in this one. But the only real similarity I could find is that Auburn was ranked #5 going into that game like in this one. (Oh, and we wore white in that game and I'm sure we will in this one). LSU was unranked in '95 I think.

Otherwise, we were home in '95, Auburn is home this year. Auburn had beaten us something like 15 straight years going into '95. Not so this year. I think the '95 game was the first time we wore white at home in quite some time. Jamie Howard was a senior while Harris is a freshman.

So, a couple of similarities. Some differences. But hopefully the #5 ranked team will go down this year like they did in '95.
