Anyone have any experience using Meopta scopes? I'm looking at a a Meopro 4x12x50 (reticle pattern 4).

I just wanted to see if you guys have had any issues and how the scope has performed in low light situations.

Get it. Some of the nicest scopes in that price class. Only other I would look at is Vortex (because of the awesome warranty; I have no clue about Meopta's warranty).

I would definitely get it then. I borrowed one with a 56mm objective deer hunting last year. The thing is a beast in low light.

I worded initial post wrong. I meant to say "I'm looking at using"

My brain shuts down after 10:00 most week nights!

I actually bought the scope at Bowie today and a new rifle. I'm green when it comes to hunting, so I'm trying to get a little more feedback on the scope itself.

Word, who'd you get it from? Ruffin?
What rifle?

Much thanks to the guys up at Bowie. Also, everyone up there was very helpful and informative today. I won't name anyone that would risk the chance of blowing online anonymity.

I've purchased two guns from them now. I believe it was Steve that sold me the Mossberg 590a1 a while back. Today I dealt with Alvin. Both experiences were much better than dealing with the big box stores. I will definitely be purchasing future firearms and accessories from them.

Also, I'm going to try to get out and break it in next weekend. I'll try to remember to post an update for you for the Tikka.

I've always been a VX and Monarch guy, but after using Vortex's, I'm a believer. They're solid and the warranty is no bullshite. They'll fix it no matter how it happened.

Alvin's great too. He usually handles all of our class 3 stuff. Glad you had a good experience

I have a Monarch right now that I need to send back. The side focus is screwed up beyond belief.
