Not a fan?

I always kind of liked them, then we got to see them free at a show on campus here. They put on a great, uplifting show. Lots of cathartic anthems.

We're actually kind of burnt out on them around our house now, but they were on steady rotation for about 5 months.

Damn. Tough crowd tonight. Didn't realize the Head and the Heart garnered so much scorn.

Neither did I. I've only recented started looking at this board though so I'm not sure how snobby some are. I mean I didnt think they were great when I saw them but it was enjoyable enough for me to go see them again. They've got a couple of good tunes.

shite. I think both albums are solid as hell. Like I said, lots of great anthemic songs that are really fun to hear live.

They really don't have many songs that I don't like. Now, I'm burnt out on them (when my wife gets on a band kick, she listens to them non stop), but I'd definitely go see them.

I'm pretty snobby when it comes to music, and I don't really get the HatH bashing. I went and saw Interpol last night (good show), but I'd go back and see HatH again before seeing Interpol again.

Shake is one of my favorites in my current playlist I've been listening to. Haven't really gotten too far with them beyond that and Another Story, though.

Do what?!? You're comparing apples to oranges. I saw Head and the Heart at Tips last year. I thought it was a snoozefest. But I do like to listen to them around the house. Maybe it was an off night. But that's why I didn't go tonight.

When I saw HatH, it was a pretty raucous crowd who were singing along and very into it.

As for comparing Interpol/HatH, that was in reference to someone's comment about this board being "snobby." I was just saying that I listen to and see a wide variety of music. Wasn't trying to put Interpol and HatH in the same genre.

It's THATH you posers.

Great live show. Latest album was a disappointment for me. I do not understand why all of these indie-folk groups have to synth up their sound (Matthew and the Atlas is another).
