Except for Pirlo. He will be world class at 55.

My answer is the USMNT. Only team I truly care about and follow closely.

I think that it's unique in soccer, especially in the states. The sport is tied to a national team, so people find their connections through those players representing. I'm not English, so it's impossible for me to latch on to place I've never seen, and players I've got zero connection to. So yes I follow players and yes if we had zero players in the epl my interest would probably lower somewhat.

Well if that's the case then I feel like you're probably missing out on a great deal of enjoyment you can experience with the game. I guess it works for some, and not for others.

Agreed. Completely investing is the only way to go. European footy is magical.

LA Galaxy but Sporting KC is becoming a close second, solely due to "The Benny Feilhaber Show".

Don't follow any European clubs. Strictly a USMNT and MLS fan.

ETA: USMNT of course. I assumed this was a given but maybe I shouldn't have.

Everton. But that'll probably change after Howard is gone. If Yedlin becomes a regular at Spurs I'll probably jump over, as long as they get rid of those God awful uniforms they have this season.

Liverpool.

I follow Hearts but I can't say I'm emotionally invested in them. Hopefully I will be more so next year when I can watch the matches more regularly, after they return to the Scottish Premier League.

Aberdeen, Manchester United, and Houston Dynamo.

I know having multiple teams is odd, but with all the different leagues around the world, I tend to have 1 team that I cheer for.
