What’s Going To Happen: Welcome to the 16th Annual Not-Funny Groaner guaranteed 100% lock of the year: the Tigers will win.

LSU will play far better than it did against MSU. The power of Leonard Fournette and the rest backfield will keep the game under control, but Auburn will have a bit more on offense. It won’t just be the running game; Nick Marshall and the passing attack will unleash the big, talented receivers on the LSU secondary to balance things out just enough to take control early and hang in when Harris comes up with a few outstanding scoring drives.

Prediction: Auburn 38 … LSU 27

CFN is usually pretty good, but this is just lazy writing.

If we don't stop the run and generate a pash rush, Marshall will have a field day against our secondary

I liked the 1st part, where it said the Tigers will win!!! But I finished reading and saw it was the "wrong" tigers he was talking about...well, we will just have to shoot the dam war eagle...

I like how he just casually mentions this as if our secondary isn't absolutely filthy. Believe me, we are hoping that Marshall tries to lob his lame ducks all game long.

More laziness. He's just regurgitating the State game.

I'd agree that we have a filthy secondary...when we don't have breakdowns like we did vs. MSU.

Marshall can easily avoid a sack, run around, and spot an open guy the same as prescott.

I dont think they will score that many, you have to be able to throw the ball very well to score that....and i dont think they can throw that much on our DB's...our front 6-7 better be ready to step up in the hole quick to stop the run...

If the glaring issues that were exposed in the MSU game haven't been addressed then I agree.

If he hasn't made any adjustments and the D gets spread out and gashed the way they did against MSU then yes chavis is going to catch some shite.

Gave up 34 to a less talented group at home.

Our secondary is good.

I agree. The key to the game will be our front seven.

I disagree. Auburn has one of the best receiving corps in the country. They will not be afraid to throw the ball, especially if our defense crowds the LOS.

with Duke, Coates (who had a good game vs. White last year), Bray, and then add in the receiving threat from Uzomah, secondary will be tested early and often.

Possibly, but Nick Marshall's arm doesn't scare me.

Fwiw, I think Dakota>>>Marshall (but Gus>>>Fathead Mullen). I also think Jeremy Johnson is better than Marshall. He's by far the better passer of the two.
