Asking seen something on 247?

We have very little shot at Lodge. The kid is looking for early playing time that we just cant provide (unless Dural goes pro, we could offer a LITTLE early playing time). If Tyron Johnson wants to come here, forget about it.

They all say that they are looking for early pt but you know their decision isn't just based on that. If he came to LSU and was good enough, he would see the field in some capacity.

The specific reason he decommitted from A&M was their WR depth. Ours is no easier to crack.

Getting this guy away from the Texas schools would be awesome. Get Lodge, Tyron, and big Jazz at WR and call it a day.

Why would any recruit come to anything but Bama this year? If Lodge were serious about us, he wouldnt be taking an official to Kentucky, unless for some odd reason, that is the only date that works for him.
ETA: I'd love to be wrong and have Lodge join in. Having him, Dupre, Quinn, and possibly Johnson together at wideout for 2-3 years would be sick. 4 wides all day.

I really like Antonio Callaway, hope he's a part of the class too.

Lodge wants all the balls. Reminds me of NFL prima donna WR's.

That is the exact opposite way most people, including myself, think.
If a recruit only wants to visit LSU for the Bama game then in my mind, he is coming because he knows its going to be a huge game but does not necessarily mean he is interested in coming to LSU. Every year a Bama/Auburn/Florida commit visits for that game and its obvious their intention is purely to watch the team they are committed and aren't going to switch over to LSU.
Now the big game atmosphere cannot be beat to lure a recruit but if a recruit wants to visit for the smaller games, then you know his interest is sincere.

Very few uncommitted recruits with no real interest in LSU will come to a game like Kentucky. The coaches can spend more time with the few uncommitted recruits that come to such a game. Each can receive personalized attention.
The committed recruits generally come to such games. With the currently committed recruits on campus, the few uncommitted recruits will have a great opportunity to get to know their potential future teammates.

Dural is gone after this year.

I hear yall on that, but if I am a recruit who wants to be wowed by a program/place, LSU vs Bama offers the best stage to be blown away. Also, I remember reading the other day another recruit cancelled his visit to LSU at our coaches request because we had a night game, and the coaches wanted more time to spend with said recruit. This may be the case here too. Maybe LSU requested to have Lodge official then because it very well could end up being a day game, thus leaving more 1 on 1 time for the coaches to actually talk to him.
