And linked to the Tsarnaevs - that was "workplace" violence, too.

Nothing to see here, folks. Religion of peace. Allah u akbar.

Move along.

These folks are basically openly aiding and abetting terrorism - treason, under another name- and we're doing nothing to stop it.

The Daily Caller and Breitbart News can always be counted on to provide dishonest headlines, and this is a textbook example of it.

What's dishonest about it?

what is dishonest about this?

"Webb (the Imam) spoke alongside the late al-Qaida senior operative Anwar al-Awlaki at a Sept. 9, 2001 fundraiser for an Islamic radical who killed two police officers, according to FBI surveillance documents."

So we know this guy supports murdering Americans and may even provide material support for it, but we'll let him keep running an incubator for future psychotics and jihadists?

The headline is misleading and takes the Imam out of context.

He did apologize, but I agree the context was misleading. Either way, it sounds like he's softening his tone. It should be interesting what tune he's singing in a few months.

Sometimes I try to imagine the outrage if an Evangelical pastor was in an analogous situation.

1) holds fundraiser for a cop killer
2) was pastor at two separate churches that both produced an adherent who committed a religiously-motivated terror attack
3) apologized to an active, declared enemy of the US for being too mean to them in words

What would be the response?
