I bought eBay 52.50 Nov Calls a couple of weeks ago and I'm trying to decide if this news will sustain a higher stock price or if this is a one day thing. Does anyone have input on what this will do to the stock price in the coming weeks?

IMO, too many large institutions are going to provide a comparable service which PayPal does now, such as the large banks, Amazon, Google and Apple. It will affect PayPal's fee structure negatively.

That's not a stock I follow, and I've long since given up trying to predict how the market will react to things unless I have a strong understanding of the underlying financials.
I am very curious to see how paypal does once Apple Pay really gets going.

I believe Google already tried this and failed. I would think it will be a couple years before apple can compete with PayPal as paypal has been in the game for a while.

I think it will eventually be a good thing.
Paypal is becoming too big and too critical to be shuffled together with ebay. Granted a substantial portion of their revenue comes through ebay. Its necessary so paypal can adapt and defend its market against several new players.
