We'll see. They aren't going to get Urban, so why make a run at him unless they're willing to offer the world. Fact is, they need a homerun hire this time around. They need to show real progress next year, and be competitive in 2-3.

No love for Michigan, but it's a shame to see an historic program struggle.

and I'm sure they have their chicken little fans who were even afraid to throw money at him due to him being "untouchable" like we are told here all the time with all the coaches listed here who we could go after when Miles is gone. Better to try and fail then fail to try. of course, IF that indeed is what Big Blue is doing. Hoke is history.

Urban Meyer going to Michigan is a ridiculous assertion. Urban is an Ohio guy with strong ties to many former coaches at OSU and this will be his last gig.

Miles is not going to Michigan either. The reason...Recruiting. Miles is a good but not great coach that has made a name for himself by hiring great coordinators and benefitting from Louisiana being a talent rich state with many kids who grow up being Tiger fans and wanting to play for LSU if the offer comes.

At Michigan he has to compete for recruits with Mich State, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. Don't see him leaving.
