All hunters (including archers and small

display 400 square inches of “Hunter
Orange” and wear a “Hunter Orange” cap
during open gun season for deer.

I've always hunted private lands, but considering hitting a WMA a few times this year.
I've always worn an orange hat, but my head isn't 400 square inches.
What clothing do you wear to cover the minimum area requirement for hunter's orange? One of those vests like the highway workers wear, or do you buy orange camo?

Orange vest

Eta: you also might want to take a bath in orange body paint.

That means vest and hat... not one or the other, but both.

yep, I understood that part.

So just a cheap mesh vest will do the trick?

I might see if the wife can knit me up something
