I'm a Wisconsinite headed to New Orleans for the Saints/Packer game on Oct. 26. Our group consists of guys from California, Illinois and of course, Wisconsin, and we're all big Packer and Badgers fans. We hear you guys tailgate pretty big in the SEC and we'd like to see it for ourselves when you host Ole Miss on Oct. 25. Any advice on how to get hooked up with a crew to tailgate with? We'll pay up, we just want to experience the SEC and no better place to start than Death Valley, right?

Thanks guys. I know all my friends who went to the opener in Houston said the Badger and Tiger fans got along great, so I was hoping I could get away with wearing Badger gear.

You will get a few "Tiger Baits" along the way. Just grin and bear it, guaranteed you will get invited to several tailgates as you move through the crowd.

No jerseys though. This is not the Big10. T shirt (at worst) or polo with Wisconsin logo will go over nicely.

There's a crew that tailgates to the right of the Indian Mounds that are more than generous...the guy featured in this article is a childhood friend of mine and they throw a helluva tailgate every week. Sport your Wisconsin gear and you shouldn't have to buy any food or beverage that day. LINK
