LSU beats Auburn and that FL game gets a whole new meaning.

Well at least it looks like LSU won't be in the "JP" slot.

My predicted order of selection:

1. Ole Miss at A&M (OM will be coming off a loss, but it will still be the best combined ranked matchup)
2. UGA at Mizzou (2nd best combined ranked matchup; could move up to #1 if CBS really wants to visit Mizzou)
3. AU at MSU (will be #1 game if MSU beats A&M)
4. Bama at Ark. (Bama ranked in top 2, carries national weight)
5. LSU at UF (UF is becoming an afterthought under Muschamp and LSU will have 2 losses)

I would think that the games they are closely looking at are Ole Miss at A&M and Auburn at Ms State. If Bama, Auburn and Ms State win this weekend, I believe they would select Auburn at State. I don't see any chance of LSU-Florida being selected unless LSU, Bama and State win this weekend. Of course in that scenario they could select Ga and Mizzou. I don't see them selecting Ole Miss at A&M with both coming off a loss and Auburn would lose some of its luster if they lose to LSU. With 2 losses, Arkansas doesn't appear to be in the mix.

There are alot of ifs involved so I can see why they are using the 6 day option.

Only if UF beats UT and I'm not so sure they do in Kville.

I agree if FL doesn't win in Knoxville it doesn't matter what LSU does this weekend.

Damn. There's a lot of good games that weekend. I was hoping it would be on CBS because the Paul McCartney concert is that night. But it doesn't seem like it will be.

One positive about a night game at the Swamp is LSU plays much better at night. LSU's wins in 02, 04, and 2010 came at night. While the loses came during the day with the exception of 08.

CBS has a DH that weekend. The order of selection goes:

CBS 2:30
ESPN games (2)
CBS 11:00
SEC Network

Not doubting...but you have a link to that somewhere? I thought I had seen/heard/read that CBS got the top 2 choices
