$94m tax check

What liquor store would even have that much cash on hand?

Edit: Oh, it's a state tax check. Now, that's more reasonable.

That's a special kind of stupid. I wouldn't charge her with anything but would make sure she got her tubes tied.

It reminds me of the opposite end of the spectrum. My ITS FRIDAY thread has a record low of seven dollars for sex. If this lady was more into free enterprise I'm sure she could get 20 dollars at least 3 times a night. That's 60 bucks. Nothing to sneeze at.

Then, she would have the self esteem of knowing that she is a contributing member of society.

Then she could get hire by a foundation to advice other disadvantaged people 'why you should not write checks for 100M dollars.'

I can see the website... "Don't write 100M checks.com."

Some of you folks might want to jump on that name and make some money. Nome Sane?

Don't most people making nine-figure salaries do their banking at the local supermarket?

Charge her with the crime, but as her punishment, just kick out all government programs for the rest of her life.

Seriously, if I were the teller I would have said, "Yes ma'am, and would you like that in fives or tens?"

dayum....Shaniqua doin work.

Edit. This is a prime example of why our tax system is broken. If she had claimed something more close to realistic and got....say a $9400 "return" instead she would have gotten away with it no questions asked.

Flat tax. EVERYBODY pays, no bogus returns.

At 99 million in wages, you are not getting any credits, so how in the hell can someone calculate a 94 million dollar STATE refund check?

And LOL at the broad going to "cash" the check at the bank they told her to go to.

Special kind of stupid here.

Reminds me of the first episode of The Beverly Hillbillies.

Jed Clampett: Granny, some feller wants to buy our land that has that black stuff on it. And he wants to pay us in some new kind of money.

Granny: What kind of money?

Jed: Well, instead of regular dollars. He wants to pay us in something called Millie Yun Dollars.
