Just accepted a job back home and I'm moving from Metro Atlanta to the Northshore in late October. Pretty pumped.

I need to start calling movers...anyone do a multi state move recently? Any specific movers you'd recommend. Early thoughts are pricing Atlas and also Allied.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I used them in Atlanta a couple years ago and they were slow and did a lot of damage. To move a 4 bedroom house and garage I'll need a bigger operation

Try Simmons from Bogalusa. I think they will move you from ATL to the Northshore. They are very good and the few times we have had to use them, we had a great experience with them.

B. why the hell not. Certainly don't want to be in Orleans or St. Bernard or Metairie.

used Allied and it went well. Moved from NOLA to NY. Didn't have a lot, but it was enough for a crate full.
